Our
trip to Central Europe will be a study in contrasts. From
Munich and the slow but steady German economy, along with
the beautiful sights of Bavaria and the Austrian Alps, we
will travel to a new member of the EU, Slovenia, which only
a decade or so ago was part of a communist system. We will
see Slovenia with a former FIU student, who traveled as a
study abroad participant, and who lives southwest of the capital.
We will have several alumni along, all of whom have traveled
with us before. It promises to be an exciting trip, capped
with a visit to the "City of Sighs," Venice. With
optional excursions to Budapest and Vienna, this promises
to be a unique experience.
